This rocky beach is THE spot to view a spectacular sunset - in fact it also known as 'Sunset Beach'

This side of the island, while not having the best sunbathing beaches is now being developed, particularly at this point as the town of Skala spreads.

Make a point of spending the end of at least one day of your visit watching the sun disappear over the horizon. Take a drink at the 'Cactus Bar' just behind the beach, then wander back through the narow streets to the main square.
