The Harbourside regularly erupts into a flurry of activity as the huge Cruise Ships dock, sometimes arriving three at once! Taxis and Coaches blare their horns as hundreds disembark for a short visit to the island.

A visitor from the cruise ships can normally expect to see only a small example of the beauty of the island, a trip to the Monastery, a glimpse in the holy cave, quick shopping in the streets of Skala, then back on board to sail away.
