Photography inside the Cave and Monsatery of St. John is generally forbidden, so a Permit had to be obtained to allow access to produce these panoramas which you can see here. We are very grateful to be granted this permission. These images are intended solely for journalistic, cultural, scientific, research and educational puposes and in absolute respect to the holiness of the Monument and its nature.
It is built on a spot venerated by both Catholics and Eastern Orthodox as the cave where St. John of Patmos had visions is nearby on the island.
