| Grikos Harbour and Bay The winding road from Skala snakes to Grikos (Grikou) and, if you take the first turning off, brings you right here to the small harbour. A small sandy beach extends to the south, Grikos is becoming a little more developed, with some package tours and more and more apartments available. The development of this area was highlighted during our visit by the sound of blasting, as explosives were being used to extend the road to Petras Bay (at present we have no view of Petras, as we had omitted to pack hard hats!) The taverna serves a good meatball, and conversations can be overheard in a variety of European languages. Grikos Tennis Club: |
